Capacity:
Our newly renovated facility, located in central Little Rock, can accommodate 70+ patients for single, or concurrent Phase l-lla trials utilizing overnight, private, and semi-private extended stay quarters. Its a three floor facility, serviced by an elevator. In-patient areas are separate from screening and outpatient clinics, and in the case of concurrent trials, patient populations are separated. For patient safety, a state of the art fire alarm sprinkler system is installed throughout the facility. Visitors are not allowed during inpatient course of testing. All meals are catered to our facility, and are easily standardized or tailored to a specific protocol, per requirement.

Facility Layout:
First Floor:
Administrative offices, outpatient screening, drawing labs and exams facilities. Study records, both electronic files and physical records are stored onsite and are available for review at any time.
Second Floor:
Private and semi-private, extended stay rooms. Volunteer lounge, Recreation area. Patient washer and dryer facilities.
Third Floor:
Food Serving and Dining area. Twenty (20) bed procedure room.
Laboratory processing area with multiple -18 degree C to -80 degree C freezers.
Location:
Osborne Research Center is located in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, within 4 miles of 5 major hospitals, including a trauma center and teaching hospital.
Many hotels are in a 3 block area from our facility, and the airport is less than 10 minutes away. Sponsors are welcome onsite, 24/7 for site review or to monitor a study in progress.
Pharmacy Services:
Osborne Research Center maintains a full-service clinical pharmacy supervised by a certified pharmacist. Pharmacy staff are trained on study drug receipt, accountability, medication preparation and dispensing. The staff is experienced in preparing and dispensing medication in various forms,
such as IV admixture, compounding, preparation of oral solutions, preparation of biological study medication, dispensing of patches, and preparation of IV contrast agents. A separate dispensing area is utilized, and the pharmacy has limited access and is secure.
There is also a Suitable Storage Facility for the Retention Samples required by FDA

Laboratories:
Our three, up-to-date laboratories for collections have 3 refrigerated centrifuges for processing samples. Samples are stored in freezers, with the capabilities of -18 degrees C to -80 degrees C storage, where they are held until shipment. All safety laboratory studies are sent to a separate certified laboratory with results in less than 10 hours. (IATA certified Employees for Specimen Shipments)
